We'd Rather the Job Take Longer Workplace Safety Poster
Promote a proactive workplace safety culture with this highly visible Workplace Safety Poster featuring the important safety message:
“WE'D RATHER THE JOB TAKE LONGER, than someone get hurt.”
This workplace safety poster reinforces one of the most important principles of workplace health and safety: no deadline, production target, or operational demand should ever take priority over worker safety. The message serves as a constant reminder that taking the necessary time to complete a task safely is always preferable to risking an injury through rushing, shortcuts, or unsafe work practices.
Designed to encourage safe work practices, hazard awareness, risk assessment, and personal responsibility, this poster helps strengthen safety culture across all industries. By emphasising the importance of working safely rather than simply working quickly, it reminds employees, contractors, supervisors, and managers to follow workplace procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), identify potential hazards, and take the time needed to complete tasks without unnecessary risks.
Ideal for construction sites, warehouses, workshops, manufacturing facilities, logistics operations, transport depots, mining environments, processing plants, maintenance facilities, and industrial workplaces, this workplace safety poster supports hazard prevention, injury reduction, workplace compliance, and ongoing safety awareness programs.
The clear and memorable message makes it an excellent visual communication tool for reinforcing workplace safety expectations, supporting toolbox talks, promoting safe behaviour, and encouraging workers to recognise that productivity should never come at the expense of personal safety. Particularly relevant to high-risk work environments, working at heights, machinery operations, maintenance activities, and physically demanding tasks, it reinforces the importance of careful planning, hazard identification, and avoiding unnecessary shortcuts.
