FORKLIFT TAIL SWING – IT SWINGS FURTHER THAN YOU THINK!
Don't underestimate how far the rear of a forklift can swing!
Forklift tail swing is an often-overlooked workplace hazard. Because counterbalance forklifts steer with their rear wheels, the heavy rear counterweight can swing outward during turns, creating a serious risk for pedestrians standing nearby.
Our Forklift Tail Swing Safety Poster uses a bold, easy-to-understand illustration of a forklift, pedestrian and sweeping red danger zone to demonstrate just how far the rear of a forklift can swing.
Why display this poster?
✓ Raises awareness of forklift tail swing hazards.
✓ Illustrates the danger of the rear counterweight swinging outward.
✓ Reminds pedestrians to maintain a safe distance from turning forklifts.
✓ Reinforces the importance of respecting forklift exclusion zones.
✓ Delivers a clear visual safety message that's easy to recognise.
